I spent 3 hours at the hair salon getting a very overdue cut and highlights. It's been almost two years since I last went. After being pampered and leaving feeling a few pounds lighter (since he cut off abut 8 inches), I headed over to 1154 Lill to order my new bag. They had a very helpful but not pushy salesperson. I ended up getting something different than I had originally planned on, but am really excited about it. I usually wear a backpack as that's easier with kids, but wanted something that is less Momish for those times when I am kidless. Also since I wear jeans a lot, I wanted something with some blue in it. All the bags are custom sewn in Chicago and I'll be able to pick it up in 3 weeks. I could have had it shipped, but I like to have an excuse to go downtown. After that I did some window shopping for a while. I found lots of things I like at Banana Republic that I may need to add to my Christmas list.
